OBJECTIVES
• CDesign a standard for EV fleets in corporations or local authorities in order to ease up EV roll-out.
• Draft recommendations for setting up EV fleets.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND LESSONS LEARNED
Grid-wide roll out ongoing
• Feedback and recommendations for EV fleet roll-out: EV becomes profitable beyond 50km/day with diesel prices at their 2014 level. Due to longer routes, battery mileage capacity can remain an impediment to larger EV roll-out in semi-urban or rural areas.
Further development needed before roll out
• Design and experimentation of a communicating system between EVs, charging points and existing IT infrastructures.
• Qualifying the feasibility of charging management and its economic and ecological interest.
