• Cross-border optimising of the distribution system through the set-up of a smart grid.
• Define a cross-border low-emission mobility strategy.
• Investigate possible technical and economic
cross-energy couplings.

Technico-economic feasibility study:
• Identifying an optimal project location among four possible cross-border areas.
• Grid planning with a 2035 perspective and opportunity survey for possible MV interconnection to lower grid constraints.
• Definition of a regulatory framework interconnection operation and links with market mechanisms.
• Cost-benefits analysis.
