A project dedicated to electric mobility, financed by ADEME and coordinated by ENEDIS
DETAILS
Where :
Marne, Aube, Haute-Marne and Ardennes Départements
When :
2018-2020
What :
What: 4 experimenting locations, with 150 car-sharing points, 20 public charging points, 10 e-tractors and 25 EVs from a corporate fleet.
OBJECTIVES
• Promote EV charging during peak periods of wind power generation.
• Smart EV charging aimed at preventing constraints on the distribution grid.
• Test of a V2G service.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND LESSONS LEARNED
Further development needed before roll out
• “Prosumer” EV user: hourly sending of simple day-ahead of two-days-ahead signals towards charging points operators and users to promote EV recharging in times of peak wind power generation; sending of signals to charging points operators and users to help them factor in grid constraints into their charging programs.
• Use of EV flexibilities (V2G) to lift grid constraints.
• Checking the quality of generation forecasting: comparative quality testing of Enedis’ own generation forecasts with those of generation plant operators; contribution to enhancement of forecasting models through SYPEL; promotion of the DispoRéseau software as an single interface between generation units and Enedis in order to integrate generation forecasts.
