OBJECTIVES

Ease up the connection of renewable energy sources in rural areas, building upon the “village plant” in the village of Les Haies, France, and optimise its impact on the LV grid through innovative solutions based on smart meters.

 

Improve matching of consumption and local generation through local community programs.

 

Help local communities plan their development of renewable energy sources.

Solutions for local absorption of VAR for LV generators: testing in 7 PV sites < 36kVA – awaiting regulatory changes.
